Q21 [Guide] Do I have to fill out e-Arrival Card every time I enter the Republic of Korea?

Yes. e-Arrival Card you submit can be used only once when you enter the Republic of Korea. Even if you do not enter the Republic of Korea, e-Arrival Card you submitted will become invalid after 72 hours, so you must fill out e-Arrival Card again.

Q22 [Method] I have more than one address where I will be staying in the Republic of Korea. Which address should I enter?

You need to enter the representative place where you will be staying. If you do not have a representative place where you will be staying, please enter the place where you will be staying for the first time after entering Korea

Q23 [Method] My departure date and departure flight number are not fixed yet. How should I enter them when filling out e-Arrival Card?

If you have not booked an outbound flight and your departure date is not fixed yet, you can enter an approximate departure date. Also, the departure flight number is not required information, so if you do not have a scheduled departure flight number, you do not need to enter it. However, the immigration inspector may check your departure schedule during immigration inspection, and if you do not have a scheduled departure date depending on your purpose of entry, it may be disadvantageous during immigration inspection.

Q24 [Subject] I am planning to transfer within 24 hours without entering the Republic of Korea. Do I need to submit e-Arrival Card?

Transit passengers just transiting through the Republic of Korea are not required to fill out e-Arrival Card.

Q25 [Subject] I have a valid residence card. Do I need to fill out e-Arrival Card?

Those holding a valid residence card (including Permanent Resident Card and Overseas Korean Resident Card) are not required to submit an arrival card.

Q26 [Subject] Are flight attendants and seafarers also required to fill out e-Arrival Card?

When landing permission is granted, flight attendants and seafarers do not need to submit e-Arrival Card.

Q27 [Subject] Can USFK (SOFA) members also fill out e-Arrival Card?

USFK (SOFA) members are also required to fill out e-Arrival Card. However, please check what documents (passport or US military ID) you will be presented during immigration and fill out the personal information in the same way as the relevant documents.

Q28 [Subject] I have a diplomatic or official passport. Do I need to fill out e-Arrival Card?

Holders of diplomatic or official passports from countries that allow visa-free entry into the Republic of Korea due to international agreements, etc. must fill out an arrival card when entering the Republic of Korea. In addition, those who want to enter the Republic of Korea with a visa for diplomatic or official purposes are also required to submit an arrival card.

Q29 [Method] My address of residence, purpose of entry, and occupation have changed after submitting e-Arrival Card. Can I change them?

You can change before the immigration to the Republic of Korea.(The arrival date can only be corrected within 3 days from the initial submission date. ) You can view and edit your e-Arrival Card through the issue number or email verification provided upon submission of e-Arrival Card.

Q30 [Method] My date of birth on my passport is XX/XX/1999. How should I enter it?

Please scan your passport with OCR and fill in the information as readable. If OCR scanning is not available and you must enter it directly, please enter 1999.00.00.
